Step into the neon glow of the 1980s and get ready for the ultimate retro arcade experience! Inspired by the golden age of arcade classics, this two-player game transports you back to a time when high scores ruled, and the fate of the world was decided one quarter at a time.

Earth is under attack from all sides—aliens are invading, and a deadly meteor storm is raining down. You and your co-pilot must join forces to save the planet! Player One grips the joystick of a ground-based defense system, blasting invaders with a barrage of lasers and missiles, all while dodging 8-bit explosions and pixelated meteors. Player Two takes to the skies in a sleek spaceship straight out of a classic sci-fi flick, defending Earth with rapid-fire cannons and energy shields.

With vibrant vector graphics and a pumping synthwave soundtrack, experience a love letter to the arcade era. Grab your friend, load up on lives, and see if you have what it takes to save the world—1980s style!

Cool little game. Made it to level 11.

Feedback:

  • Difficulty was really low and didn't change much from level to level.
  • Would be nice to see more dynamic behavior from both the enemy ships and asteroids (several asteroids were overlapping when split).
  • Holding fire instead of spamming it would help for ergonomics.
  • Add selection of single vs. multiplayer mode.
  • Allow player to still move around during level switches.
  • Fix issues with full screen (game doesn't seem to work well unless in full screen and then can't get out of full screen any other way than pressing Esc)

Nice! I made it to level 9.
